As Senior / P&O People Partner you will be delivering a consistent end-to-end P&O (HR) experience, focusing on the moments that matter for our leaders, managers, and associates. You will help to establish harmonized people partner processes and ways of working in our business function across manufacturing, engineering and manufacturing science technologies (MST). This role is based in Tuas.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for credible P&O people partnering to leaders, managers and associates, offering advice and guidance on the moments that matter. Escalation for all leaders and managers on their day-to-day P&O topics where expert advice, guidance and support is needed.
- Manage complex projects and change initiatives with broad scope - cross divisional or even global scope
- Involved in designing or leading P&O initiatives that support the overall P&O Strategy. i.e., traineeship program
- Activate business ownership and accountability of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
- Acts as the escalation point for exceptions to P&O standards (regulations and P&O processes), deviations or appeals.
- Champions a safe and inclusive culture and supports implementation of corporate initiatives (e.g., Hybrid Working, Evolve, Go Big on Learning)
- Drives quality, effectiveness, efficiency, and continuous improvement for P&O People Partnering and related processes based on feedback from customers. Implements enhancements and modification as necessary to meet both the business and customer needs.
- Employee relations within client group, coaching and mentoring associates and managers

**Minimum requirements**
What you’ll bring to the role
- Minimum 3 years of P&O/ HR experience within a similar role, specifically within Manufacturing
- Extensive knowledge of local employment law and other labour requirements, where appropriate
- Managing large projects and processes independently
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Innovative, purpose-driven, and displays a strong and consistent sense of urgency.
- Education: (minimum/desirable) Bachelor's Degree
