Finance Director

**Accountability**:
**Overall**
- Serve as chief financial person for the Process Systems and Solutions business in the Asia Pacific world area.
- Primary financial interface and business partner with Process Systems and Solutions Management Team in Asia Pacific Region.
- Primary financial point of contact for the business unit with Automation Solutions world area headquarters, and PSS global headquarters.
- Lead the organization in development of financial information that supports critical information necessary for strategic and tactical planning process.
- Responsible for the generation of long-range financial performance goals (annual Profitability Plan).
- Advise and make recommendations to Systems and Solutions Asia Management of the financial implications of company projects, programs, and policies.
- Provide direction on all financial matters concerning the Business unit.
- Provide analysis and financial information as required by world area and Business Unit Management.
- Provide enforcement of Corporate Policies and Procedures within Asia Pacific.
- Ensure policy and procedure framework are in place and consistent with corporate guidelines and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Perform Quarterly AP sites Business Reviews together with Process Systems and Solutions Management team.

**Budgets/Forecasts**:

- To coordinate the timely preparation and consolidation of all annual operating and capital budgets as well as quarterly 12 month rolling business forecasts.
- Performs financial analysis of business unit and entity actual performance, budgets, forecasts, and business plans and provide advice regarding corrective actions to management for deviations to budget. Conduct frequent upside/risk analysis for the coming quarter and fiscal year, to provide direction to business unit leadership, as well as Automation Solutions world area headquarters.
- Determine benchmarks to track and improve performance.

**Asset Management and Cashflow**:

- Support the business unit capital reporting requirements.
- Coordinate the analysis and recommendations regarding specific financial projects, equipment replacement or additions, plant additions/expansions, etc.
- Support world area/business unit effort to ensure prompt collection of customer receivables to meet past due, DSO and cash flow targets.
- Work closely with Operations to ensure proper Inventory control and procedures in place.
- Support the Sales and Execution organisations to drive optimal contract terms and conditions incorporating favorable milestone billing, and conduct regular cadence to monitor overall net progress outstanding (contract assets vs contract liabilities).
- Oversee the operating cash flow performance of the business, driving practices throughout the world area which maximise cash generation

**Human Resources**:

- Continuously improve the quality of finance and accounting human resources through effective selection, performance management, career planning and development, skills training, and management/executive development.
- Ensure compliance of workplace safety rules, including but not limited to the usage of a personal protective equipment, if provided to you, while working; not involve in any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger peers or oneself; reporting unsafe work conditions and providing suggestions to improve safety/ health at work, as needed.

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Degree in Accounting and Finance with a solid understanding of accounting theory, US and Ex-pat policy and practice.
- CPA/MBA desirable
- Degree in Accounting / Business Finance
- Demonstrated management skills.
- Business acumen as well as PSS product knowledge and operations.
- Excellent financial planning, analysis and reporting skills.
