Packaging New Product Introduction Manager

The scope includes global shuttle MPWs, customer specific tapeouts, across standard FcBGA, Wirebond, FcCSP, FOWLP, WLCSP package types to more complex AIP, multi-chip modules and from existing OSATs to qualifying new OSAT suppliers and new package types.

The thermal mechanical modeling portion of this team supports not only NPI but also the CPI foundry technology group. This role provides executive exposure internal and external to GF and as such it requires clear precise communication skills and the ability to work across organizational boundaries.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Resource & respond to all new and on-going opportunities within agreed to KPIs Including but not limited to:

- Costing and approval of new opportunities
- Safe Operating Area assessment process
- On time delivery of customer parts,
- Maintain spending within budget
- Manage relationship with OSAT suppliers/partners including escalations through GF procurement & executive teams
- Lead thermal mechanical modeling team to support all NPI and CPI requirements across GF.
- Drive continuous improvement of efficiency and effectiveness in all aspects of the team
- Drive Packaging AEs to deliver best in class client service
- Maintain documentation of activities and deliverables in appropriate GF systems and drive system improvements where possible.
- Drive high engagement of team ensuring all activities are done in a safe and responsible manner, support all HR, Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirement

Required Qualifications:

- Education/Experience - BS + 15yrs; MS+ 10yrs; PhD+ 5yrs
- Management / Leadership - 10+ yrs
- Program Management experience
- Packaging technology expertise
- Outsource Assembly and Test supplier management experience
- Travel Requirements: 15 %
- Language Fluency: English (Written & Verbal)

Preferred Qualifications:

- New product introduction (NPI) management experience
- Automotive packaging experience
- Cross-cultural management experience
