**Job Description: Mission-Critical Communications Integration Engineer**

**Location: Ang Mo Kio**

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Analyze and map Motorola TETRA API calls to Airbus MCX API equivalents.
- Develop middleware, adapters, or translation layers to facilitate bidirectional API communication.
- Work with Motorola and Airbus proprietary APIs to ensure functional compatibility.
- Ensure adherence to 3GPP, ETSI, and other relevant telecom standards.
- Collaborate with telecom, backend, and operations teams to deploy and test solutions.
- Troubleshoot integration issues across the stack (protocol, transport, logic).
- Document integration logic, interfaces, and implementation details for support and maintenance.

Required Skills & Experience Telecommunications Expertise
- Hands-on experience with TETRA systems (preferably Motorola).
- Knowledge of SDS, PEI, and mission-critical push-to-talk systems. API & System Integration - Strong experience in developing or consuming REST, SOAP, or proprietary APIs. - API mapping, reverse-engineering, and protocol conversion.
- Middleware/gateway design and implementation.

**Programming & Tools**
- Proficient in Python, Java, C#, or C++. - Experience with Postman, Wireshark, Swagger/OpenAPI. - Familiarity with real-time systems and low-latency messaging.
- Bonus: Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools. Networking & Security - Strong grasp of IP networking concepts, VPNs, NAT traversal, TLS/SSL. - Experience with secure communication and PKI infrastructure. Preferred Qualifications - Experience integrating legacy radio systems with LTE/5G broadband services. - Prior work with Motorola and Airbus APIs, or similar telecom vendors. - Familiarity with public safety communication protocols and compliance standards. Soft Skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. - Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and vendor teams. - Excellent verbal and written communication. - Highly self-motivated and able to work independently. Education - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., MCX, TETRA, IP networking) are a plus.
