Security Manager Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa

The Security Manager for Asia Pacific & Middle East, Africa is the link between the Corporate Security central function in Munich and the international organization with all Munich Re locations belonging to the region. For this reason, the Security Manager plays an important role in protecting Munich Re's employees, assets, and information around the world and we enabling MR business and people by creating holistic security frameworks for extraordinary places.
Additionally, this role implements global and regional security strategies, concepts and guidelines and seek to continuously improve the maturity level to build an effective and efficient security environment.
**Your Job**
- Review, implement and manage regional physical security concepts/projects in alignment with global standard
- Govern and Consult on all regional projects in regards to physical security requirements (e.g. one roof concept) and plan, adapt and operate Outsourcing Model of physical security
- Implementation of travel security tools in the region and further development of security awareness on business trips
- Ensuring that regional security trainings (including travel) and handling security incidents, complying with global standards for Munich Re
- Review and streamline regional and local BCM/Crisis Management organization including implementation of relevant processes
- Support the IRM Risk Assessment process and coordination of EMT tests and exercises
- Further development of regional security organization within the region, include improving the overall regional security awareness
- Own regional security management in all kinds of security issues
**Your Profile**
- Master’s degree in Security Management / Crisis Management / Business Continuity Management / Business Administration, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, with experience in all relevant fields of Security including Awareness, Physical Security, Information Security, Investigations, Business Continuity Management and Crisis Management
- Business Continuity Management certifications or qualifications advantageous
- Comprehensive knowledge of BCM and CM standards, including ISO22301, and legal requirements
- Expertise in project and program management
- High degree of independence, initiative and commitment
- Analytical thinking, structured working method and fast comprehension skills
- High problem-solving competence
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Strong written & verbal communication in English (German will be a plus)
- Relevant experience in APAC and MEA region
- Willingness to travel
