Shop Supervisor

**Responsibilities**:
**Team Supervision & Leadership**
- Supervise and guide team members within your section, ensuring efficient daily operations
- Work closely with the Shop Supervisor / Shop Manager to align section goals with overall store targets
- Motivate and develop staff by providing ongoing training, feedback, and performance assessments

**Monitor and Support Team Performance**
- Support the Shop Supervisor / Shop Manager in tracking team performance, ensuring that goals are met and individual development needs are addressed
- Help maintain a positive work environment by motivating and recognizing team members' achievements
- Offer problem-solving assistance when needed to ensure smooth operations and overcome any team-related challenges

**Customer Service Excellence**
- Ensure the highest standard of customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs
- Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly, ensuring a positive experience
- Lead by example to create a customer-first environment and encourage team members to go above and beyond

**Sales & Performance Management**
- Achieve section sales targets by promoting products, encouraging upselling, and providing excellent product knowledge
- Monitor sales performance and work with the Shop Supervisor / Shop Manager to implement strategies to meet KPIs
- Ensure that team members are fully aware of sales goals and work together to exceed expectations

**Inventory Management**
- Ensure that the section is well-stocked and inventory levels are maintained to meet customer demand
- Perform regular inventory checks and coordinate with the Shop Supervisor / Shop Manager to manage stock replenishment
- Assist with the ordering process to avoid stockouts or overstocking

**Store Operation & Safety**
- Assist with store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and security protocols
- Ensure the section is clean, organized, and adheres to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with the Shop Supervisor / Shop Manager to ensure smooth store operations

**Requirements**:

- At least 2 years in a supervisory role within the retail industry, preferably in a customer-facing environment
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and KPIs
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for customer satisfaction
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; good decision-making abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of inventory management and store operations
- Ability to handle cash and other financial transactions accurately
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with a positive attitudeStrong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team
