**Job Description**:
**Primary Objective**

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and dynamic regional asset management firm looking to expand their alternative investment team in Singapore. We are looking for Alternative Investment Analyst with at least 3 years of experience.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Research, source and generate investment themes, ideas and strategies in the alternative investment and private market space. These include, but not limited to, private equity, private credit, real assets, structured products and digital assets.
- Conduct due diligence and feasibility studies on potential opportunities that align with the firm’s private market investment strategy
- Draft and present proposals to firm's Investment Committee
- Prepare and refine pitch decks, factsheets, termsheets, information decks
- Attend annual investor meetings for underlying funds
- Identify and execute co-investment transactions that support the firm's mission, strategies and policies
- Actively monitor fund financial performance and actions, including divestitures
- Undertake the implementation and the hand-over of administration of funds and direct investments, ensuring compliance with required guidelines, policies and procedures as well as agreed covenants and reporting requirements up to financing effectiveness
- Assess and structure transactions to maximize the potential for commercial co-financing and catalysing of additional sources of capital

**Qualifications**:
Formal Education:

- Bachelor Degree from a recognised university

By Level of Experience (by Years/Function/Industry):

- Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in a Research, Fund Management, Portfolio Management, or similar function
- Understanding of performance attribution, market factors and driver of returns across mutual funds and asset classes

Other Skills Required:

- This is a challenging but exciting opportunity to take the lead in a new business. You will need to bring in a range of skills including technical experience to manage your preferred portfolio
- Excellent communication skills and writing skills
- Solid interpersonal skills and ability to quickly form meaningful working partnerships and demonstrate leadership
- Experience in high yield/distressed and/or private credit background are preferred
