Head of Alternative Investment

**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for managing the Singapore analyst team, which includes day-to-day supervision of research analysts, monitoring and improving the quality of research, deciding on which sectors and stocks shall be covered and identifying important research themes
- Play a lead role in formulating and justifying our opinions on investment strategies to both internal and external stakeholders
- Produce alternative investment research commentaries based on critical and thorough analysis
- Proactive in building effective internal and external relationships with key stakeholders (including listed companies, investors and authorities) and acting as a representative of the Company
- Handle ad-hoc client enquiries and undertake other administrative, research and/or analytical work as required
**Requirements**:
- Deep understanding of financial metrics, valuation and fundamentals of various industries
- Strong analytical ability
- Ability to anticipate change in the thematic focus of investors
- Ability to influence and inspire team members, and to generate confidence among them
- Degree in Finance/Business/Economics/Statistics or a related field with at least 10 years of relevant experience
- Business-level proficiency in Mandarin/ Chinese (written and verbal) is required for effective communication with Mandarin-speaking clients and counterparts
