**Responsibilities**:
- Build and Upgrade of Red Hat Linux and Windows Operating Systems to latest.
- Installation/Configuration/Upgrade of Servers
- Study the Servers Inventory and assess to qualify for OS Upgrade
- Perform the preparation work required for OS Upgrade
- Proactively resolve the issues leading up to Upgrade Window.
- Perform the OS Upgrade activities including Patching, Hardening, rollback (if needed).
- Preventive/Proactive Support
- Incident/Change/Problem Management
- Support for post-build activities like Hardening, detailed verification.
- Other IT Infrastructure Related Tasks
- Able to support on weekends/ roster as per Change implementation tasks.
**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Having 8+ years of extensive experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.x/7.x/8.x/9.x Administration and Windows 2008/2012/2016/2019.
- **Must Have: Intensive experience in Build/Upgrade of RHEL and Windows Servers**:
- **Experience with using Patching tools like Bigfix, SCCM, etc.**:
- **Hands-on experience on Ansible, Chef tools to perform Hardening.**:
- Knowledge of using Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins pipelines.
- Experience with Scripting like Shell, Bash, PowerShell, Python.
- Deep understanding of HPE ProLiant, Dell Hardware and VMWare.
- Professional understanding of networking related to RHEL/Windows
- Professional understanding of SAN Storage related to RHEL/Windows
- Good understanding of large Data Center Facilities operation
- Hands-On experience supporting Infrastructure and Security agents (NetBackup, BMC Patrol etc.)
