**Our Client**:
Our client is one of the top leading Japanese MNCs. Their regional HQ located in Singapore is actively looking to hire a Regional HR Manager to oversee regional and local HR responsibilities.
**About the Role**:
The Regional HR Manager provides HR services and support to subsidiary companies in recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits programs, training and development, disciplinary procedure, staff welfare & recreation, manpower planning, employee communication, HR policies and procedures, performance management, and liaising with government agencies on employment matters.
**The Responsibilities**:
Regional HR
- Contribute to the standardization of HRM System including but not limited to company policy, talent acquisition, job & performance evaluation, salary banding, compensation & benefits, training & development, etc. to subsidiaries and overseas representative offices
- Drafts long-term roadmap for regionalizing Human Resource functions, and responsible for executing regional talent management initiatives including but not limited to talent career development, talent assessment, succession planning, and talent mobility
- Collaborate with Japan HQ HR on deployment of our Group HR system and policies
- Provide full range of HR shared services to regional subsidiaries and branches including HRM improvement
- The respective Country GMs and Department Heads will be consulted, and their views incorporated in any HR programs for the region
In-country HR
- Oversee end to end recruitment process as well as onboarding/offboarding arrangements
- Review compensation and benefits programs to ensure cost-effectiveness
- Review monthly payroll reports, CPF submission and yearly income tax declaration, etc.
- Responsible for annual performance appraisal exercises
- Review company handbook, companywide recreational budget, and activities relating to staff welfare, general well-being, and wellness of employees
- Responsible for HR, corporate/regional Events, etc. related budget, and cost expenditure monitoring
- Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by HOD
**The Requirements**:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher qualification in HRM or Business
- At least 16 years of HR Generalist experience with 10 years progressive managerial and regional experience
- Relevant working experience in Industrial/Engineering Industries will be advantageous
- Able to work in cross cultural environment with good interpersonal and strong intercultural communication skills
- Accountability, adaptability with excellent leadership
- Given the nature of the job, an experience working in Japanese companies will be a plus
