Executive, Finance Operations

The Executive/Senior Executive, Finance provides administrative support for the Finance Section in Corporate Services with the aim to support the smooth and effective operations of the finance function.
Able to handle book keeping and financial operations, familiar with preparation of full set of company’s accounts ready for external auditing and assist the Project Lead and Project Consultant in areas pertaining to the organisation development changes for Finance.
Key Role Description
- Assist the accountant in -_
**Monthly Financial Reporting (AR/AP Task)**
- Prepare bank reconciliation and perform GL review for month-end closing process;
- Record and maintain incoming funds from respective funders and donation income;
- Prepare monthly financial reports for management;
- Send outstanding Purchase Orders to respective centres on half yearly basis;
- Manage and monitor grant utilisation and verify/approve grant submission reports to relevant funding agencies;
**External Audit**
- Preparation for external audit (stock take, year-end closing, prepare schedules);
- Liaise with external auditors on audit requirements.

**Budget Process**
- Work with all department representatives on the budget requirements, preparation, consolidation and submission for approval;
- Monthly tracking of budget vs actual expenditures; proactively work with department heads on quarterly budget tracking;
**Internal Controls**
- Review/revise policies, SOPs and procedures to comply with recommended practices;
- Work with department heads and SOP adherence;
- Work with various parties during internal audit.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy/ Finance, or in any related discipline;
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounts or finance role;
- Excellent working knowledge of Financial and practices, as it pertains to a not-for-profit organization;
- Experience of liaising with vendors and internal customer;
- Proficient in managing large volume of transactions;
- Good knowledge in Exchequer software would be a plus;
- Ability to adapt to a face-paced environment and multi-task;
- Organised, meticulous and able to manage expectations.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $3,500.00 - $4,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental Pay:
- 13th month salary
