Position Summary

Reporting to the Finance Controller (SEAPAC), the Finance Analyst is responsible for leading the financial accounting and reporting function in support of the SEAPAC business comprising of 8 markets.

This position plays a key role in ensuring data integrity and making financial information available to support the SEAPAC region. The individual should possess high level of discipline, independence, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while still maintaining a high level of accuracy. Having great interpersonal skills and being a strong team player are ideal traits for this role as it requires collaboration with various internal stakeholders.
Job Description

**Responsibilities**
- Lead Financial Accounting and Reporting for SEAPAC region.
- Assist in Financial Planning and Analysis to support the SEAPAC business.
- Support continuous improvement in Finance and System processes.
- Support successful day-to-day trading operations.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end closing and reporting.
- Business partnering the commercial team in providing financial accounting knowledge to value-add business activities.
- Lead the financial accounting activities during the month
- and year-end closings.
- Ensure data integrity of SEAPAC financials and organise financial data into useful reports to aid financial analysis in supporting business decisions.
- Review monthly balance sheet reconciliation schedules for accuracy and completeness, and adequacy on provisions and accruals.
- Support External and Internal Audit by liaising with the commercial team in gathering and providing supporting documents and explanations from the business perspective while in accordance with relevant requirements.
Skills and Experience
- University Degree in Finance/Accounting
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the accounting field
- Professional Accounting Qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Technical Competence and/or knowledge of accounting rules
- Possesses analytical mind-set and high attention-to-detail
- Effective stakeholder management and business partnering
