**About the role - you will**:

- Develop control software for precision, high-throughput automated equipment.
- Design and develop machine vision and/or deep learning software to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity for precision, high-throughput automated equipment.
- Design and develop electrical control system with draftsman support on schematic drawings and BOM creation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design system architectures, and implement software solutions.
- Implement best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Support and troubleshoot existing automation systems, identifying and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement in automation software solutions.
- Perform continuous improvement and enhancement to the existing equipment software toward Smart Autonomous Manufacturing.

**Your experience includes**:

- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical and Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation, Computer Engineering, or relevant engineering disciplines.
- Fresh graduates with strong interest and academic results in the field of automation control, software programming, vision-based AI &/or experience in MvTec Halcon toolkits are welcome.
- Experience in electrical design for machine automation in Class100 cleanroom environment will be very much preferred though not compulsory.
- Knowledge and/or experience in EtherCAT fieldbus, SolidWorks 3D, machine vision technology, AI Technology or Control Automation will be an added advantage.
- Experience in data science and AI technology through past projects shall be favorable.
- Processes interest in transforming data science prototypes into production-ready solutions with knowledge of Python, Web design, Pytorch library, and/or other machine learning frameworks.
