**Roles & Responsibilities**

Facilitate daily and hourly activities of a team of machinists to ensure that manufacturing operations run accordingly to meet business matrices in safety, production, quality, delivery and cost.
- Maintain scheduled execution of safe, high quality and efficient production process per manufacturing standard work.
- Be the first response to all abnormal conditions and to assess, resolve or escalate for issue resolution.
- Co-facilitate and identify gaps to meet business matrices and lead problem solving for targeted turn backs to closure.
- Develop and improve manufacturing standard work in partnership with relevant stakeholders (Engineering, Planning, Quality, CORE etc.).
- Facilitate coaching of new team members to meet skill matrix requirements.
- Execute, maintain and improve Team Leader standard work.
- Understand CORE tools including Problem Solving (RRCA/DIVE), Turnbacks (QCPC), 8 wastes (DOWNTIME), Setup Reduction (SMED) and standard work (SW).
- Provide input to supervisor to support performance management of the team.
- Comply with EH&S policies and lead the team by example.

**Requirements**:

- ITE qualification in Precision Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 3 years working experience in a Precision Engineering environment.
- Able to perform Microsoft Office suite tasks in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Able to work weekly rotating shifts and support production.
- Good knowledge in CNC programming.
- Ability to apprehend technical instructions/drawings.
- Ability to use measuring instruments.
- Previously worked in a manufacturing environment.
