**What the role is**
- ENGINEER, TRAFFIC ANALYSIS & PROJECTS (1 YEAR TEMPORARY CONTRACT)

**What you will be working on**
- You will play an active role in the facilitation and review of traffic and commuter schemes in Singapore. Your work will help facilitate the movement of vehicles and buses on our roads, during road/rail infrastructure development. You will be involved in the study of traffic conditions using a wide range of traffic data from a comprehensive network of data collection devices. You would then assess feedback or traffic plans using these traffic data and assist your team to propose and develop feasible solutions. You would also be expected to work closely with the local community and other Divisions to improve travel experience of bus commuters and to minimize impact to motorists due to diversion works in the area. You will also work with consultants, other agencies and LTA divisions on traffic plans and traffic impact studies. You will also develop your interpersonal skills through interaction and communication with the community and various stakeholders. Your work will enhance the travel experience of commuters, motorists and cyclists, to create an improved living environment for all road users. - Requirements: - Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering - Possess an inquisitive and analytical mind, and good with complicated data analysis - A team player with initiative, good communication and leadership skills with lateral thinking ability - Those without working experience are also welcomed to apply
