
Director - Key Account Management - Logistics - Apac

We are seeking a strategic, commercially driven, and entrepreneurial Vertical Lead - Industrial - APAC to lead the development of the industrial logistics vertical in a greenfield setting across the Asia Pacific region.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Build and scale the industrial vertical — defining the go-to-market strategy, establishing key customer relationships, and laying the commercial foundation for long-term success.
- Identify and engage with strategic industrial accounts where regional decision-making resides, targeting customers across OEM, Tier 1/Tier 2, and aftermarket segments.
- Drive business development efforts by selling standalone logistics services (e.g., warehousing, inland transport, customs), cross-selling multiple capabilities across the supply chain, and building and selling bespoke end-to-end solutions tailored to unique customer requirements.
- Proactively develop and manage the vertical’s sales pipeline, respond to tenders, and pursue solution-led sales opportunities across APAC.
- Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with customers, positioning DP World as a long-term strategic supply chain partner.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure commercial feasibility, operational readiness, and seamless delivery of customer solutions.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer priorities to continuously adapt the vertical strategy.
- Contribute to DP World APAC’s broader commercial objectives across logistics service lines.
**Qualifications, Experience and Skills**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Strong background in logistics, supply chain, or the industrial industry, with demonstrated experience in business development, vertical leadership, or strategic account management.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with strong commercial instincts and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Solid understanding of industrial supply chain structures across Asia Pacific, including OEMs, Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers, and aftermarket operations.
- Demonstrated success in developing and delivering tailored logistics solutions to meet complex customer needs.
- Great communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, particularly with senior decision-makers and cross-functional teams.
- Collaborative, agile, and proactive in driving outcomes across regional and local teams.
- Comfortable with frequent travel across the APAC region.
