DESIGNATION : Manager, College of Integrative Studies

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Marketing and brand communications
- Plan, develop, deliver, sustain and evaluate the College’s brand campaigns, collaborating with internal and external partners, such as the College’s advertising agency, designers and printers, as necessary.
- Manage and deliver on the College’s social media strategy and content calendar, including maintaining and updating the College’s social media accounts.
- Manage the development, management and dissemination of brand assets (e.g. photography, videography, advertising, logos, stories, etc.).
- Systematically gather market intelligence and propose suitable marketing strategies in response to the gathered intelligence.
- Collate material and edit copy for the College’s publications across print and digital media, such as the College’s annual programme brochures and semi-annual Advisory Board newsletters.
- Support University-wide marketing and communications efforts including curation and consolidation of content and other brand assets, such as the annual University undergraduate and postgraduate prospectuses.
- Proactively seek information for PR purposes and work on press releases and key speeches in collaboration with the Office of Corporate Communications and Marketing.
- Outreach and student recruitment
- Develop and organise key outreach initiatives to engage stakeholders at every stage of the prospective students’ funnel, in collaboration with the Office of Admissions and Financial Assistance and College of Graduate Research Studies.
- Coordinate the College’s presence at outreach events, representing and promoting the College at these events as appropriate.
- Assist and facilitate the conduct of SMU Undergraduate and Postgraduate Open Houses, including coordinating the College’s contribution to these events.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
- Experience in higher education marketing and student recruitment will be an added advantage.
- Strong organisational, collaborative project planning and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to write succinct and engaging copy and vary writing styles across different audiences and platforms.
- Excellent presentation skills with the confidence to present to very different audiences across a range of events.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with students, faculty and staff.
- Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Ability to design compelling and creative content will be an advantage.
