Key Responsibilities:
The RA will work on an ongoing project to conduct the research on development of the next generation of microfluidic devices based on a combination of 3D printing, microfabrication with multiple sensing mechanisms and cell separation mechanisms. This includes the integration of Electro Magnetic principles into the devices. The roles of this position include:
- Study of microfabrication and 3D printing hybrid manufacturing process with design of experiments with simulations and understanding the limits of fabrication with tradeoff parameters;
- Simulation of electro magnetic performance from device, up to system level;
- Conduct biological experimentation in laboratory settings;
- Product design;
- Report generation and publication of research effort.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Masters Degree in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Biology or related field
- 5-year research experience in related area
- Expertise in integrated microfluidic design
- Knowledge in various testing setups like imaging, fluorescence microscopy, etc
- Experiences in related projects are highly preferred
- Publication track record is an advantage
- Proficiency in English and strong report writing skillset
