**General Summary
Owns and achieves interim and final contractual deliverables throughout the entire project lifecycle according to time, quality/scope and cost constraints. Leads and directs cross-functional teams and manages client expectations to achieve client satisfaction.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Serves as the primary liaison with the client and manages client contractual, organizational and relationship needs/expectations.
- Leads and directs cross functional team leaders and third parties/vendors. Liaises with managers to optimize performance and utilization of project team members.
- Manages all project contractual deliverables through review of project progress, monitoring of dashboards/metrics, and proactive identification, resolution/mitigation, and escalations of risks and/or issues. Serves as a point of escalation for project teams.
- Manages project costs and ensures resources are in line with budget and deliverables.
- Ensures adherence to company SOPs, policies and guidelines at the project or program level.
- Acts as primary Program Manager for complex studies and/or as lead for a program of studies.
- Validates project plan. Guides and supports functional team leads in trouble-shooting and contingency planning.
- Develops in depth analysis and projections of project timelines and financials for senior and customer management.
- Owns projections of revenue and resources and actual unit/hours efficiency analysis.
- Identifies, reviews and escalates project overburn and/or under-burn and adjusts resourcing demand accordingly to maximize utilization and staff efficiency. Attends, participates and leads the project teams in bid defense process.
- Provides team leadership, mentoring and assessment feedback to project management team and functional leads.
- Identifies and promotes succession planning for assigned staff working with functional management to promote individual development and supportive team dynamics.
- May function as an acting Director of Project Delivery with some supervision
