
Customer Service Officer

**Job Summary**: In this role, you will process orders, handle inquiries from external or internal customers, coordinate resolutions of customer issues with internal departments, explain products/services and billing procedures to customers, assist customers in completing forms and gather/record information needed for proper transactions.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Support to set up SOP to meet the spirit of SPEED and ACCURACY
- Check the material validity and price effectiveness in SAP
- Generate quotes upon Accounts Managers’ or customers’ requests in SAP
- Enter valid orders to initiate product shipment
- Working with the supply chain to make sure goods arrive to meet the customer’s required delivery date
- Contact the customer to make sure the valid certificates for chemical goods or DGs
- Manage orders to ensure complete and on-time delivery
- Manage returned and defective products to Logistic Centers and provide credits to customers
- Contribute to continuous quality improvements to ensure business compliance
- Take ownership of customers’ issues and resolutions
- Ensures the highest level of customer satisfaction (internal and external)
**QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications)**
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree, with 2 -3 years of customer service relevant experience will be a plus
- International trade/logistics major or related experiences will be a plus
**KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work successfully in a team environment
- Good customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and demonstrates initiative and result oriented
**ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL EFFORT (Under Typical Positions)**
Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level.
Work assignments are diversified. Examples of past precedents are used to resolve work problems. New alternatives may be developed to resolve problems.
A frequent volume of work and deadlines impose strain on a routine basis.
Minimal physical effort is required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 10 lbs.
