Program Manager

**About the job**:

- The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a motivated, skilled Program Manager to join us in Singapore. In this role, you will report to the Asia Pacific (APAC) Commercial Director. You will serve as the primary point of contact for commercial business related programs and provide business management expertise to the APAC Commercial team. As a Program Manager, you’ll help to build solid and effective commercial customer programs, collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders of differing types, experience, and seniority. Additionally, you will create reports, documentation, and presentations that not only state information but also draw context from it, identify risks and issues, and recommend solutions or actions.**What you will do**:

- Collaborate with the Finance and Sales Operations teams to create the necessary weekly and monthly reports for the Commercial team and ad hoc reports as required by the APAC commercial leader along with the necessary data analysis
- Host weekly commercial forecasting meeting, ensuring that all stakeholders including region commercial leads, finance, and sales ops use consistent methodology and reports and that the reports have been prepared and collated prior to the meeting
- Provide proactive analysis of the APAC commercial business and data identifying issues, risks, and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts
- Initiate and represent the Commercial team in workstreams, both within region and globally, supporting business transition, identifying opportunities for improvements to business process, and helping to establish change
- Create the necessary commercial customer programs incorporating the Commercial team’s
- strategic initiatives, activities, and pipeline outcomes that support the commercial segment
- priorities and bookings objectives in conjunction with the commercial segment leaders and Global Commercial team members
- Manage delivery of the customer programs whether directly to the customers, to internal team members, or via the Partner Ecosystem team to partners
- Align closely and connect regularly with customer marketing, business units, partner marketing, and partner ecosystem teams across the region to deliver the commercial programs
- Cooperate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver required enablement sessions and develop resources like sales kits and conversation guides for the commercial sales teams; collaborate with the Partner Ecosystem team
- Implement the necessary systems to measure progress of the programs and to collect feedback to further develop innovative and effective programs
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts and work collaboratively with others to achieve group goals by using effective strategies to inspire or gain support

- Experience with sales forecasting in APAC team; ability to run sales forecast process with the creation of reporting at a detailed level for country review and summary level for global presentation
- Ability to build customer programs from scratch or optimize global programs and lead the extended team to delivery

- Good listening and written and verbal communication skills
