Intern, Patient Service Associate

Being the Patient Service Associate intern, you will have the opportunities to coordinate and execute initiatives and tasks to increase patients’ adoption of digitalisation platforms, including self-management of health services via OneNUHS App. Additionally, you will play an active role in patient engagement and education and contribute to nationwide HealthierSG initiatives through empowering patients to take charge of their health.
On a day-to-day basis, you will get to develop a holistic understanding of patients’ profiles and the typical patients’ journeys in polyclinics. You will also have hands
- on opportunities to:
- Provide patient care services such as chaperon and translation duties, measurement of weight, height, and blood pressure;
- Provide administration services such as registration, appointment scheduling and rescheduling, and referral;
- Provide patient education and promote the use of digitalization platform to empower patients to take charge of their health;
- Conduct primary research such as surveys to understand patients’ needs and pain points;
- Manage patients’ general enquiries and screen patients’ general conditions;
- Other administrative support as and when required.
This position is on a 5.5 days’ work week.
**Requirements**:
- Passion to serve and solve problems creatively
- Experience/passion in frontline and customer service preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good team player with passion for service excellence.
- Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Be comfortable to travel to the west for internship as our polyclinics are located in the western region of Singapore.
