**Group/Division**
KLA has manufacturing sites across the globe, including Belgium, China, Germany, Israel, Singapore and Milpitas (CA). The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation, and Quality, is responsible for manufacturing our leading-edge technology. We partner with our world-wide supply base and our design engineering teams to bring new products to market. The GOPS team is continuously working to build our products Better, Faster, Cheaper.
- Manage teams of manager and/or team lead, planners and buyers for activities related to purchasing of materials as well as planning of production of tools and Spares/ Field Repair Units (FRU) for multiple product families
- Manage suppliers and subcontracts on cost, schedule and performance for sustaining products, including on-time delivery, supplier capacity management, supplier risk mitigation, ramp readiness, material supply continuity and other ad-hoc requests
- Engage in supplier scorecard process (QBR) and drives inventory management initiatives (e.g. DFT) with them
- Participate in regular New Product Launch / project meetings and follow up on supply chain related action items per PLC phase exit deliverables
- Take overall responsibility for obsolete parts process and ensure business is left with minimum liability and mínimal waste
- Ensure Bill of Materials (BOM) integrity and timely SAP parameter update/set up
- Develop strategies, implement plans, and track progress for cost savings / gross margin improvement and lead time reduction initiatives to meet company objectives
- Develop, implement and maintain policies and procedures for purchasing / planning activities
- Ensure materials are ordered and in stock to meet company requirements, while maintaining acceptable inventory levels
- Ensure the team manages Engineering change, non-conformance parts well with no disruption to materials supply and minimize scrap/rework cost
- Ensure business controls are in place to comply with the SOX / ISO / Customer / regulatory requirements
- Manage, coach and develop a high performing team that meets company objectives
**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Engineering/Business/Supply Chain.
- Minimum 10 years related industry experience in purchasing or supply chain management, with at least 5 years managerial experience
- Proficient in MRP system. Experience in SAP is an added advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain and inventory management systems.
- Ability to drive process improvement in Purchasing/ Planning process
- Analytical with good interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills with all levels of staff and management and with different functional group/geographical KLA Sites
- Good people management skills including coaching, talent development and succession planning
- Ability to look at big pictures but able to pay attention to details, if required
- Team player, self-driven and able to work under pressure with a sense of urgency
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and liaise with a variety of offshore locations
- Experience in low volume high mix and equipment manufacturing environment is a plus
