**Key Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Lead NPI, dual source, low cost region, cost reduction programs/ projects from sourcing lane.
- Present sourcing, cost, supplier/part risk, lead time reduction, supply market capacity analysis, benchmarking initiatives to key stakeholders, management, and internal customers
- Prepare project plan, coordinate project activities from planning to implementation. Maintain a matrix to track details with reports, checklist and project scheduling.
- Involves in alignment progress of resources internal to the business unit to meet project on time and budget performance objectives.
- Influence others across a matrix of functions throughout the program/projects.
- Collaborate with engineering team to interpret engineering requirements.
- Ability to translate complex technical project requirements into manageable and constructable pieces.
- Analyze BOM cost to identify cost reduction opportunities through design, content reductions, should cost modeling, track and ensure timeline implementation of opportunities.
- With limited supervision, creates, releases and updates new project materials strategy.
- Use standard tools, dashboards, and BKMs to assess supplier capability, including regional capabilities, overall capacity, ability to support rapid demand increases. Prototyping (NPI), ability to support High volume manufacturing, and vertical integration (i.e. parts, cleaning, assembly capabilities) to aid in making sustainable sourcing decisions.
- In charge of carrying out materials sourcing, qualification, readiness, engineer changes, configuration stabilization, all the way to exit product to mass production.
- Assists in supplier price and delivery negotiations; under direct supervision may negotiate contracts as necessary with Commodity team. Utilizing the preferred supplier selections and assessment process when selecting suppliers.
- Facilitate early engagement between supplier and Mattson volume team to drive manufacturability, repeatability cost and lead time improvement.
- Provide input to sourcing decision by performing make/buy analysis.
- Actively involving in commercialization (transition) material plan.
- Develop supplier and commodity road map to Engineering and Supply Chain.
- Collaborate with Engineering to identify preliminary critical parts, long lead parts and inspection requirements.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of NPI materials to support schedules and minimize timeline disruptions.
- Monitor and control NPI material costs to achieve cost reduction targets and improve profitability.
- Monitor and tracks cost targets, purchased price variance, and purchase order term and conditions agreement by on-going communication on cost topic with suppliers.
- Identify potential risks in the supply chain and implement mitigation plans to minimize their impact on production and operations.
- Develop contingency plans for critical NPI materials and suppliers to address unforeseen disruptions.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure the timely introduction of NPI materials and components into production.
- Work with logistics and transportation teams to optimize NPI material logistics and inbound transportation.
- Ensure project assigned are completed in accordance with predetermined requirements, with specific attention to product/process specification, project/program costs, and timeliness for completion.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in NPI materials management, procurement, or supply chain in a semiconductor or related high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with ERP systems, inventory management, and supplier management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop data[1]driven solutions.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to materials management.
- Ability to solves complex problems, take a new perspective on existing solutions, exercises judgement based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

**Job Type**: Contract

**Salary**: $3,479.01 - $10,382.57 per month
