We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a** Senior Manager, Sustainability Risk, CMB ASP.**

**Principal Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Director, Sustainability Risk for ASM CMB, the Senior Manager Sustainability Risk, Commercial Banking ASP role is a key first line of defence (FLOD position. The role will work with the sustainability risk management team to and roll out and deploy the groups sustainability risk strategy in ASP especially focused around CMB international markets. Key responsibilities will include:

- Support regulatory engagement and reporting on sustainability risk and governance especially in CMB International Markets in ASP
- Focal point for interaction and liaison with front line RM’s, businesses and risk & compliance on new policy development, transition risk client engagement and implementation for both financial and non-financial risk.
- Work with multiple stakeholders in the region and globally to implement and operationalise the new policies via development into procedures and processes across ASP.
- Monitor key risk and control indicators aligned to CMB global sustainability strategy and targets
- Embed and implement of efficient and effective product, deal and transaction governance processes across the product areas
- Ensure holistic consideration of risks and controls through the client and product lifecycle to ensure compliance with policies and goals
- Ensure comprehensive and actionable portfolio MI is available on financial risk exposures under the various ESG categories
- Support development and rollout of training and awareness for CMB staff on sustainability risks especially in international markets
- Establish a clear timeline and roadmap for implementation of all material sustainability risk initiatives and policies, ensuring appropriate coordination and communication

Requirements

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar capacity
- Strong sustainability knowledge
- Well developed risk management knowledge
- Solid knowledge and experience in processes, Bank systems and/or project management
- Organized and logical thinker
- Strong interpersonal sensitivity
