StriveX is partnering with a Corporate Bank who is looking for a seasoned hire to join their Operations Department. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will deputise the Head and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the back-office operations. This entails loan administration, trade finance and treasury settlements, and on top of the BAU, you will be spearheading various projects and initiatives for the growth of the bank.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure and oversee timely processing of transactions in accordance with the bank's policies and procedures.
- Responsible for decisions within authorized limits for Loans, Trade Finance and Treasury Settlements processing.
- Lead operations projects, ensuring timely implementation and delivery.
- Improve operational processes for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
- Establish relevant objectives and KPIs for the operations team.
- Identify and develop team members for key positions through training and coaching initiatives.
- Develop, review, and implement procedures, ensuring timely communication and compliance within the team.
- Provide support and manage stakeholders effectively, including vendors, regulators, and third parties.
- Identify and achieve cost-saving opportunities while reducing operational losses and mitigating risks.
- Prepare and distribute internal reports to stakeholders, ensuring adherence to audit requirements and high-quality assurance standards.
- Send incident reports in a timely manner, following the bank's policy and procedures.
- Align with Group Operations strategy and ensure adherence to relevant requirements and controls.
- Assist in developing and implementing the Business Continuity Plan (BCM).
- Support the design and implementation of new systems and ensure the maintenance of current systems.
- Manage outsourced processes and suppliers.
- Support the preparation of the annual business plan and budget in alignment with the bank's strategy and objectives.

Key Requirements
- Degree Holder
- 7-10 years of experience in banking operations
- Sound working knowledge across Loans, Trade Finance and Treasury Settlements
- Strong knowledge of banking operations and products, preferably wholesale and corporate banking
- In-depth understanding of the bank's products, services, procedures, policies, risk, and credit policies.
- Prior supervisory and/or leadership experience
