The Senior Analyst is a critical role within the GBI team at Johnson & Johnson Vision Care to drive our efforts to build and execute a comprehensive Data & Analytics Strategy for APAC.

Work closely with key stakeholders for APAC markets to identify advanced data analytics opportunities e.g. campaigns, tracking key performance indicators and propose solutions

Analyze, interpret, draw conclusions, and provide clear insights and recommendations to audiences at all levels regarding operating parameters to achieve business optimization

Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes

Undertake pre-processing of structured and unstructured data

Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns. Work with different functions i.e. Marketing/IT /external analytics agencies in order to shape and support CRM/analytics strategies & execution

The role will drive the power of “AND” (Data Driven Insights & Analytics) have a good mix of Strategy & Execution,

The position reports into the APAC Head of Strategic Insights & Analytics (functional lead)

Adheres to environmental policy, procedures, and supports department environmental objectives. Engages in Credo-based decision-making.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree is required; Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Applied Data Sciences, or other related fields with emphasis in quantitative methods and solutions.
- 3-4 years of work experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst or citizen data Scientist
- Strong ability to synthesize data, interpret data, and process observations into concrete recommendations using Tableau.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to reconcile data sources.
- A combination of business focus, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and programming knowledge to be able to quickly cycle hypothesis through the discovery phase of a project
- Understanding of Data Science tools with experience in using (R, Python, SLQ, etc.) to work with data and draw insights from large data sets is a plus
- Effective communication including presentation skills are required. The job will require frequent interaction with leadership team members, often necessitating fielding business inquiries during meetings on the fly and operating with a calm sense of urgency to deliver business critical insights and recommendations to audiences at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment where a high degree of collaboration internal and external is strongly preferred.
