Junior Fund Accountant

A well-funded, Singapore-based financial and professional services firm is seeking a Junior Fund Accountant to be part of their team.
The business focused on providing engineering-led solutions to corporate clients and asset managers and are backed by some of the biggest venture capital firms and family offices in Asia. The business works with institutional investors and fund houses.
The Junior Fund Accountant will perform the following tasks:
- Assist in the monthly bookkeeping and accounting for clients using Xero.
- Assist in the preparation of portfolio Net Assets Valuations, Individual Capital Account
- Assist in the Statements, Capital Call and Distribution Notices
- Assist in the preparation of Management Accounts & Financial Statements.
- Assisting with tax computations and submissions.
- Assisting with one-off accounting and reporting requests.
- Any adhoc task that was assigned by the Immediate Superior
Qualifications:
- Graduate or Degree in Accountancy or other professional accounting qualifications as recognized by ISCA, including CPA qualifications
- With 1 year of relevant work experience in Private Equity or Venture Capital Fund Accounting.
- Proficiency in Xero is required
- Demonstrate good problem-solving skills and be able to work well with HOD or stakeholders.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Meticulous and organize, and able to prioritize work effectively to meet multiple, tight deadlines
- Independent with a good level of initiative.
