Senior Fund Accountant

Singapore

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Providing a full range of fund accounting services to clients, including preparation of the Net Asset Value (NAV), cash and position reconciliation, review of corporate actions, validation of security pricing
- Provide a complete range of fund administration services to clients and investors in compliance with the company’s service model and policies, liaising with investment managers, brokers, custodians and auditors
- Provide and maintain superior customer relationships with clients
- Participate in various system optimisation initiatives and ad-hoc projects
- Calculate complex fees structures as set out in various agreements
- Prepare periodic financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and/or US GAAP
- Process Subscriptions and Redemptions, Switches & Transfers in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the fund offering documents.
- Initiate wire and account transfer transactions through various internet banking platforms to settle redemptions, subscription money movements etc.
- Maintain and remediate investor details in a centralised database
- Supporting the company’s anti-money laundering (AML) framework in place globally and working closely with the team to ensure compliance with the AML framework
- Supporting the organization's FATCA/CRS service offering to our clients
- Demonstrate ownership of assigned work and ensure timely completion, in line with Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Assist managers with the training of new hires and juniors.
- Conduct first reviews of deliverables to clients.

Applicants must possess the following:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, banking or finance related field
- Ideally 3 year of experience in fund administration or similar role
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Understanding of securities such as equities, bonds, forwards, futures, options preferred
- Ability to work well independently as well as within a team framework;
- Be enthusiastic and eager to learn, self-starter;
- Strong work ethic with positive attitude
- Able to work under pressure with mínimal supervision to meet deadlines
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skill
