Hitachi Aqua-Tech Engineering Pte Ltd is a leader in sustainable water treatment solutions. As part of our software development efforts, we are developing cutting-edge digital solutions to enable smarter, more efficient, and more sustainable water management systems.

We are looking for a Junior Software Developer with strong backend programming skills and an eagerness to grow into a full-stack role. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful projects in environmental technology while working with an experienced and collaborative team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and APIs for the MIZU-LINK platform.
- Work with Microsoft.NET, Python, and related frameworks for backend development.
- Design and manage relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or equivalent).
- Contribute to frontend features using React.js where required (training and mentoring provided).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, QA) to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure system reliability.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proficiency in at least one backend language/framework: Microsoft.NET (C#) or Python.
- Understanding of database design and SQL queries.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and integration practices.
- Exposure to React.js or willingness to learn frontend frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with AWS cloud platform.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Interest in IoT/remote monitoring platforms.
