The position is designed to Lead, plan, coordinate and control the execution of projects within the AP Essential Health Consumer business. The role focuses on introduction of new products (NPD/I Innovation) and projects touching or enhancing existing products as well as Life Cycle Management (LCM), Cost Improvement (CIP), Resite, Business Continuity (BCP), Internal & External Compliance. The role would focus on certain geography or on certain group of products for entire APAC.

This will require:

- Interdependent partnering with the other functions of the Project Management Office team, Value Stream Leads, Manufacturing sites (internal & external), Integrated Planning, Strategic Sourcing, Commercial marketing teams, QA, R&D, SMP/Technical Transfer, Global Engineering.
- Management of Innovation (NPD/I) project related activities from Define to Post Launch stage to ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within approved funding limits and achieves the final project objectives (FPOs).
- Execution of Life Cycle Management (LCM) projects from Design to Post Launch.
- Process acumen: Develop an in depth understanding of various business processes, governances and supporting systems (Planisware) and the tools/templates used for project & portfolio management.
- Finance acumen: develop foundation of supply chain finance understanding including costing process, finance planning process (BP, LRFP), business case finance, ownership to manage and track project capital & expenses.

The scope of key responsibilities includes:

- Organize and lead project core team meetings. Maintains effective communication and working relationships among project core team.
- Work with cross-functional team members to assess feasibility of project scope & FPO and develop detailed project timeline to ensure that there is sufficient flexibility and contingency in the plan to respond to unanticipated difficulties.
- Assign, define schedules and track cross-functional tasks/activities to ensure that project progress within expected timings.
- Lead risk analysis & mitigation planning for projects.
- Identify, monitor, communicate and resolve issues, scope changes, budget variances or other FPO hurdles that may arise during the project execution.
- Interface with regional and/or worldwide cross functional teams to obtain project relevant information.
- Ensure compliance against governance as required.
- Prepare and present project progress reports & presentations as required.

The position will be measured primarily on:

- Successful completion of individual projects meeting all project deliverables, On Time Launch, On Cost etc
- Compliance to worldwide, regional and local policies eg. GMP/Quality, Policy of Business Conduct, Healthcare Compliance, SOX, etc.
- E2E GP% project savings delivery.
- Follow compliance defined through the PMO Governance process and tools. Ownership to project tracking and status update Adherence to SPEED process and FPX process elements
- Efficient & effective resolution of project-related issues.
- Ability to balance process compliance, scope, resources and speed-to-market to achieve FPOs.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 6 years of relevant Project Management working experience in FMCG industry.
- Ability to lead, motivate, influence and supervise cross-functional teams
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills; can work with details
- Ability to perform well under pressure, adapt to changes and meet deadlines
- Results-oriented and able to independently create and deliver
- Superior follow-up skills to ensure that actions are completed and issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including excellent presentation skills
- Strong Project Management experience
- Knowledge of SPEED process and key requirements from each function
- Strong process-orientation
- Commercial awareness
- Prior experience working with ASEAN / Chinese markets preferred and ability to work in a multi-matrixed and cross-cultural environment.
