Vice President, Regional Relationship Manager

**About the role**:
MUFG Bank’s Global Subsidiary Banking team supports our multinational corporate clients across APAC, notably the APAC subsidiaries and regional Treasury centres of our US and European clients. On the back of significant growth in the business over the last 3 years, MUFG are hiring an additional Regional Relationship Manager based in Singapore to support this growth and service our clients across the region.
**What you’ll be doing**:
- Managing a portfolio of multinational clients across APAC as the Regional Relationship Manager, including origination, returns discipline and credit accountability
- Collaborating closely with local, regional and global colleagues in pursuit of growing the business with our client base and supporting our client’s priorities
- Originating new to bank client opportunities, and identifying growth opportunities with our existing client base across 14 countries and all products
- Growing our impact as a bank by focusing on ESG solutions to support our clients
- Uptiering our APAC relationships to headquarter, CEO, CFO, and APAC regional head levels, in order to drive the MUFG strategic agenda
- Working to establish APAC Regional Account Plans for clients in cooperation with the headquarter an local offices
- Working to achieve targets and commitments set in the financial year and provide regular updates to key stakeholders and management with reports / deal pipelines on business development activities
- To control and coordinate the preparation, credit matters including instructions, conditions and reports required and documentation including pending items. To always comply with internal rules and guidelines, as well as external laws and regulations pertaining to proper conduct of banking business
**What we are looking for**:
- 5+ years’ experience in the banking and finance industry, of which desirable would be 3+ years in the coverage and corporate banking space
- Bachelor Degree
- Extensive knowledge of corporate banking products and services, ideally in the multinational client space.
- Prior experience in a Regional Relationship Management role would be of strong benefit.
- Strong understanding of local finance laws and regulations across APAC
- Strong stakeholder management skills in order to collaborate with other departments
- Strong communication skills with ability to influence others
- Credit analysis skills
