**Role**:
Responsible for successful transfer of internal (R&D) and external client processes and analytical technologies, in partnership with site functions, as agreed per project timelines/deliverables.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform laboratory experiments for process development, characterization studies, continuous improvement of the production processes to support tech transfers.
- Perform process and product-related investigations, product impact assessments, root cause analysis and prepare technical reports to support close-out of deviations.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality to provide technical support and develop platform procedures, lab and pilot-scale production protocols, experimental study plans, sampling plans, batch records, training, and other manufacturing resources as required to execute processes and adopt best practices across the network that drive continuous improvement in all technical aspects of production.
- Provide technical support to CellVec Manufacturing that includes process and product monitoring, master data and documentation management, compliance to quality systems, and other readiness operational support activities.
- Ensures that all technical equipment is installed and maintained according to the supplier’s specifications and serviced according to GLP requirements and manufacturer specifications.
- Communicates to and supports all team members to utilize the equipment (MSAT equipment) available in the most effective way
- Serves as a champion of process and method improvements to build added value to Cellvec.
- Liaise with Business Development supporting BD in technical discussions with potential clients (including taking ownership of the technical parts of the proposal).
- Active participation in scientific events delivering scientific presentations, thus increasing the visibility of CellVec as a CDMO in the marketplace.
- Perform or lead other key initiatives and activities at CellVec, as assigned.

Preferred Experience and Qualification:

- Master Degree in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Biology with 7+ years of relevant experience in Process Development and/or Manufacturing
- Experience in MSAT or related discipline
