Singapore Northland Controls Full time

**Northland is looking for a Commissioning Engineer in Singapore.**

**As a Commissioning Engineer** you are responsible for leading the testing, troubleshooting, and final commissioning of security and low-voltage systems. This role requires extensive travel, with at least **50% of the time spent on-site at project locations, both domestically and internationally**. Ideally the position is based out of Milpitas, CA. This position can be remote for individuals close to an international airport.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct system commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of security and low-voltage systems.
- Ensure all installations meet project specifications, safety standards, and client expectations.
- Work closely with project managers, field teams, and clients to resolve issues and optimize system performance.
- Perform on-site inspections, diagnostics, and system adjustments.
- Train end-users and provide technical support for post-installation.
- Maintain detailed documentation of testing results, site conditions, and system performance.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- **Must be willing and able to travel 50%+** (local, domestic, and international).
- Strong understanding of low-voltage systems, including access control, CCTV, and network infrastructure.
- 5 years of experience in system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and teams effectively.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain necessary travel visas.
