We would like to welcome a Commissioning Engineer to be part of the Life Sciences business in the Singapore office. Main duties:

- Responsible for direct interface with construction personnel coordinating construction completion in areas and systems under assignment.
- Generates and maintains records of tests and other startup related activities
- Assist construction team in execution of required pre-commissioning activities.
- Maintains communications to ensure accurate and timely flow of information.
- Advises startup management of developments that may affect project costs, schedules, and client relations.
- Assists in the development of mechanical commissioning procedures.
- Reviews system turnover packages.
- Track and report on all issues affecting Mechanical Commissioning and promptly advising Lead Mechanical Startup Professional of issues that may impact achievement of project goals and objectives.
- Maintain a daily diary to permanently record all significant project facts, events, conditions, visitors, owner representative contacts, commitments, agreements and approvals.
- Provides input to the project Punchlist.
- Responsible for direct interface with and providing assistance to other discipline startup professionals.
- Ensure that spare parts and consumables necessary for operation of the assigned system are available.
- Request operator, construction craft or vendor assistance as necessary.
- Work with Construction Superintendent to ensure Startup Activities that require craft support are planned, communicated and completed.
- Provide direction, in conjunction with Construction Superintendent, to craft to support Startup Commissioning activities i.e. installation of temporary equipment, cleaning and replacing strainers, repair or replacement of deficient equipment.
- Provide direction and training to Operations staff during initial startup of plant systems and equipment prior to turnover.
- Conduct multidiscipline commissioning activities for one or a group of (Complex) systems within an installation (A, B, and C scope, through to conversion and start-up). The scope is defined by the project Completions manager.
- Ensure that the Completions database is adequately populated, and ITRs assigned for the equipment belonging to systems to be commissioned.
- Interface with procurement (package engineer) to prepare system’s commissioning + Interface with engineering to collect all design data necessary to the preparation and performance of system’s commissioning.
- Resolve Construction/fabrication/commissioning issues in accordance with the engineering documents on the systems to be commissioned.
- Initiate design change request when it is beneficial for the quality, progress, or cost + With systems supervisors prepare mini-schedule, run-down curves, and report to ensure clear visibility to the final phase of the project.
- Liaise with Project Completion Manager to request vendor’s presence on-site for the systems to be commissioned.
- Develop or review OTP(s) -Operation Testing Procedure(s)-, for the systems to be commissioned.
- Recommend improvement to Group management system to fit changing situation.
- Assign responsibilities and set goals to discipline supervisor.

**Here’s What You’ll Need**:

- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, with a minimum of 20 years of relevant commissioning experience in construction sites of the Pharmaceutical Industry or Chemical Projects
- Broad knowledge of engineering disciplines, commissioning, compliance, qualification and validation.
- Excellent knowledge of Validation processes (IQ/OQ/PQ) and current regulatory requirements
- Experience working within a GMP manufacturing environment.
- Good understanding of HSE, Quality, Planning, Scheduling and Cost aspects
- Good interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suites: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
