**Roles & Responsibilities**

**Position Purpose**:
The Multi-Asset Solutions team currently consists of 9 team members operating out of three locations, Singapore, Sydney and London and servicing a global client base. We employ a disciplined qualitative top-down investment process, driving a range of objective-based investment strategies and funds that invest globally in a wide range of asset classes. Our business ranges from funds and discretionary multi-asset mandates to advisory assignments.

The Analyst’s primary focus is to contribute to the quality of our investment process by conducting research on investment signals and helping to innovate our investment models. The Analyst will make investment recommendations based on fundamental research approach, planning and performing research activities to deliver quality research.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Contribute to the development and commercialisation of the Multi-Asset Solutions business
- Assist in daily portfolio monitoring and implementation and providing back-up in ongoing management, in particular of those strategies managed in the relevant location
- Run the team’s models to produce the periodic output and reporting to assist the portfolio rebalancing decisions
- Build, develop and improve investment tools and models
- Help design new tailored investment solutions and investment strategies. This spans traditional multi-sector portfolios, private client investments across a spectrum of sophistication, liability-relative and ALM portfolios. Participate in presenting research to the broader investment team and discussions with other team members covering the advantages and disadvantages of an investment strategy and process together with key risks
- Building and sustaining working relationships with support teams to seamlessly manage trade instructions, portfolio holdings and corporate actions.
- Be actively involved in any other ad hoc requests and projects for the Multi-Asset Solutions team

**Required Capabilities**
- 0 - 3 years’ experience in Investment Management, preferably demonstrably relating to Multi-Asset, asset allocation or systematic investing
- Ability to work with the various systems used by the team, in particular Blackrock Aladdin, Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters and MS Office
- Demonstrated proficiency in or affinity with research and model development
- Strong scientific programming aptitude, with experience in Python, MATLAB, VBA preferred
- Strong understanding of advanced statistical techniques and concepts
- Ability to approach problems in an analytical and systematic manner
- Great attention to detail and highly conscientious about the quality and accuracy of work
- Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
- Demonstrates strong quantitative, analytical and interpersonal skills and ability to work independently with mínimal guidance.
