Roles & Responsibilities
**What You’ll Do**
- As the Cisco ISS Business Transformation Pursuit Lead, you will have responsibility for scaling sales engagement pursuit and capture capabilities across the APJC region - ensuring that each theatre has the methodologies required to meet account demand.
- An active sales practitioner, you will also manage a set of large deal pursuit opportunities - essentially ensuring the successful identification and capture of key strategic deals leveraging these methodologies.
- You'll meet with customer executives and partners with account teams to define pursuit success metrics, solutions, and models.
- You will identify and collaborate to resolve business risks and gaps of Cisco business models with cross functional organization.
- You will collaborate closely with a group of ISS (Integrated Software & Services) team members along with field sales account teams to further develop and refine our primary large deal methodology as well as other large volume commitment models targeting our top 100 accounts.
- You will be responsible for gathering and publishing best practices and client references to enable greater account adoption and penetration.
- You will work with multiple organizations within Cisco that are required to execute successful large deal commitments with our customers, including theatre sales teams and their leadership, the Cisco Customer Experience (CX) and the Cisco Partner teams as well as the ISS organization.
**Who You Are**
- You have extensive business development experience in a cross-functional sales organization
- You have sufficient relevant technology acumen, experience with software buying programs and a strong understanding of lifecycle services.
- You can execute against strategy to deliver desired business results and can effectively persuade others using emotional intelligence, confidence, and organizational understanding.
- You exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in developing methods, frameworks, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- You have the desire to continually learn and improve approaches and methodologies while managing ambiguity effectively. Flexibility and adaptability are key.
You can easily connect with customers and present with impact, using your strong interpersonal skills. You enjoy learning and are intellectually curious with a strong desire to continuously improve knowledge, skills, and abilities. You can accurately anticipate the reactions of others and listen actively to identify their motives or concerns. You can read verbal and non-verbal cues to understand relationships/situations, and you have the ability to thrive in a complex multi-national environment.
