Senior Lifting Sshe Specialist

**MAIN FUNCTIONS**
The SSHE Specialist influences the field organization without formal authority by demonstrating strong operations and/or maintenance skills, and interacting effectively with operations/manufacturing/pipeline/other field organizations.
The SSHE Specialist also demonstrates good communication and interpersonal skills while working with diverse groups. This job role will cover some but not all of the responsibilities listed below.
**JOB DESCIPTION**
1. Prepare and review crane lift plans and method statements.
2. Monitor and attend all non-routine complex lifts.
3. Preselect and inspect all cranes and lifting equipments entering site, including load testing, crane and rigging review and risk assessments.
4. Responsible to for all site inspection of crane and lifting equipments.
5. Responsible for all project crane and rigging certifications.
6. Review 3rd party contractor, all crane operations, riggers, lift supervisors and banksman and implement additional onsite / In house training where required.
**JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
1. At least 20 years of international experience in heavy lifting, rigging plans and crane operations, including high risk activities and working at height.
2. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Petrochemical / Oil & Gas upstream and downstream industry both onshore and offshore.
3. Minimum of 15 years of experience in major global projects.
4. Proactive and familiar with latest international best practices for all site rigging and crane works.

- Read, write, and speak fluent English, as required to function effectively within a project team
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellence in project SSHE performance
- Demonstrated ability to develop successful internal and external working relationships with emphasis on interfacing in a team environment
- Ability to set priorities and work independently in performing contractor services with an appreciation for company processes and procedures
