Job Title: Demand Planner
Location: Tuas, Singapore
Hybrid
In this regional role, you will work closely with our Commercial Managers and Customer Experience team to develop forecasts for our Asia Perfumery business including Global Consumer Brands and Fine Fragrance Experience. Forecasts are developed using inputs from the team together with statistical forecasting tool requiring both strong stakeholder management and analytical skills. In return, you will develop a strong market understanding of the perfumery business in Asia, our key customers as well as advanced demand planning software.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Own the Demand Review meetings as part of the IBP process for specific markets and categories.
- Develop effective forecast models with key stakeholders based on trends and demand patterns.
- Support S&OP/S&OE process management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
- Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
- Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management.
- Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
- Conduct monthly forecast maintenance.
- Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Occasional need to join global calls during evening/nights in Asia.
**You bring**:
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or other relevant fields.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a demand planning/forecasting role.
- Good understanding of supply planning, inventory management practices and procedures.
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
- Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build effective relationships in a cross functional team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MRP systems (i.e SAP, Kinaxis) and strong Excel Skills.
