**About Role**
As a **Senior People Partner** in our Global Emerging Market (GEM) business unit you will have overall responsibility for the planning, development and delivery of HR programs, policies, services and activities that support the business strategy in Convatec operations across **Southeast Asia and India. **Acting as a trusted advisor to cluster/country business leaders you will define and deliver on the people agenda in collaboration with other members of the GEM HR team and the Global Centers of Excellence.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing trusted relationships with senior management, line management and functional team members to proactively partner and support business needs whilst developing HR strategies to enable success
- Leading the HR team in SEA & India region to deliver on the full spectrum of HR operations across payroll, benefits administration, tax reporting, on/off-boarding and training and development
- Partnering with business leaders to shape culture, employee engagement and change initiatives across the region as appropriate including but not limited to workforce planning, organizational design & development
- Effectively manage talent, performance and leadership development for the region
- Analyzing data across different markets to define action plans related to attraction, retention and development of key talents in line with the Global Talent Management framework.
- Driving HR processes and action plans related to the implementation of Global HR initiatives and the delivery of Global HR Transformation and GEM-specific projects
- Managing the HR- related workstream in support of potential and new business or growth initiatives
**About You**
To be successful you will have:
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in progressive HR roles with exposure to large matrix and COE operating models
- Demonstrated people leadership driving value excellence
- Robust working knowledge of applicable employment laws, regulations and business practices in across Southeast Asia and India.
- Strengths in compensation and benefits, talent management, business partnering and performance management
- Strong project management, problem-solving, analytical and communication skills
- Critical thinking skills coupled with strong emotional intelligence to align and integrate global programs, balancing practical and innovative approaches towards local delivery
- Confidence and courage to appropriately challenge assumptions, and the ability to successfully manage competing priorities
Education/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Preferably Bi-lingual (English and relevant Asian language)
