Lead/ Senior Storage Engineer

**Information Technology**
IT systems form the backbone of our operations. We are looking for individuals with passion and IT expertise, to help us improve the delivery of our systems and services. The Board’s IT systems support a high daily volume of financial transactions for CPF members. In addition to keeping the lights on, the Board also keeps pace with the external environment through innovation in its IT systems.

**What you will be working on**
You will be responsible to provide storage administration support and configuration of the storage, archival and backup systems to achieve a high level of security, resiliency and recoverability, including disaster recovery provisions.

The area of your responsibilities include:

- Perform storage monitoring, configuration and patching management and operational support including incidents management and troubleshooting
- Establish and review the storage, archival and backup policies, architecture and design artefact for all systems and databases and ensure operational compliance.
- Accountable for capacity management, optimisation and sustainable operations in the allocation and utilisation of infrastructure resources
- Develop and maintain technical documents where applicable

**What we are looking for**
- Minimally 4 years of hands-on experience in storage, archival or backup management and administration on enterprise class SAN Storage, Archival and Backup systems
- Familiarity in one or more of the followings:

- Deep technical knowledge of multi-vendor storage technologies.
- Various SAN platform from EMC, NetApp, IBM, HP and Cisco
- SAN Storage Technologies - EMC VMAX, Unity, VNX, NetApp, HP 3PAR, IBM XIV and DDN
- NAS Storage Technologies - EMC Isilon and NetApp
- operational experience in managing critical backup infrastructure, restorations and database restorations
- Good knowledge in hardware and software, clustering solutions, enterprise SAN, server and storage virtualization technologies
- Windows server platform, knowledge of Unix/ Solaris/ Linux & VMWare platform
- Familiarity in ITIL processes and procedures
- Ability to work beyond business hours and weekends for work contingencies where necessary
- Position will be on 2-year contract Seniority of appointment will commensurate with relevant work experience.
