Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of professional experience within Strategy Consulting, Sales Operations, or Sales Leadership.
- 10 years of experience in management within Strategy Consulting, Sales Operations, or Sales Leadership.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in a management, technical, or engineering field.
- Experience in managing the strategic planning and execution cycle for a large organization with cross-functional engagement and prioritization.
- Knowledge of video and display ad products.
- Ability to challenge and persuade executive audiences to act.
- Excellent business acumen, strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, influencing, presentation, and team leadership skills.
**About the job**:
The Product Go-To-Market (GTM) teams deliver and deploy ad products that drive advertiser success and Google’s growth. As the bridge between Product and Sales, Product GTM teams play a critical role in helping to shape product roadmaps, setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring execution and operations against the strategy.
As the Managing Director of APAC Video, Display, and Commercials GTM team, you will lead APAC’s Product GTM organization to deploy ad products across Video and Display. You will help define commercialization strategy, develop and manage the execution of go-to-market plans, provide business critical insights to drive business behaviors, ensure cross-functional alignment with key stakeholder teams, equip teams to execute on business priorities, and oversee product feedback loops. You will also lead the APAC Commercials team.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead and manage the APAC Video, Display and Commercials GTM team, including managing managers.
- Oversee the team’s engagement with promoters to identify/scale best practices and resolve challenges and enable Sales teams by ensuring that the communication, resources, and training are effective, accurate, and well-organized at all times.
- Collaborate with product leads and go-to-market partners to deploy the right products and drive advertiser adoption.
- Partner with APAC sales leadership team to define, launch, and drive critical product and business initiatives, including frequent presentations to the management team to facilitate discussion and decisions.
- Define a strategic plan for products in the Video and Display portfolios, including key metrics, adoption goals, business and support resource planning, and organizational design and influence product roadmap via executive forums and product feedback loop to ensure that product managers prioritize products.
