Kardex AutoStore is seeking a motivated self-starter to pioneer our APAC Team in the role of Software Consultant. This full-time position is to be based in Singapore and shall report to the Regional Director Business Development APAC.

The Software Consultant’s main target is the WES (Warehouse Execution System) consulting for new AutoStore projects in the sales phase detailed process and interface specification, as well as the software project management in the implementation phase. He/she works in close collaboration with the sales and project managers and elaborates the best possible and competitive IT solution to the customer’s benefit. The Consultant shall have the skills to convince the customer about the solution and the resulting benefits. He/she coordinates the relevant service providers.

In addition, the Consultant develops and improves standard WES descriptions and documents. The Software Consultant shall be highly motivated to work in a startup environment and is open for a wide range of tasks at different locations.

Ihre Aufgaben

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sell Kardex AutoStore Warehouse Executive System (WES) and provide consultation of AutoStore solutions.
- Lead the WES related activities in the sales phase from acquisition until contract.
- Lead the WES specification phase and drive the WES implementation phase until final acceptance.
- Meet with clients to discuss their logistics and IT needs.
- Conduct assessment of existing customer operations to identify areas of opportunity.
- Propose and recommend optimal logistics and IT solution that deliver customer benefit.
- Provide constant customer communication, maintaining a strong client relationship.
- Research on market overview and identification of market potential.
- Coordinate internal and external service providers in the sales and implementation phase.
- Develop standard descriptions, processes and documents.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Education: Tertiary qualification in software engineering or a similar field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with software sales and consulting.
- Proven portfolio of completed projects.
- Experience with sales project and team management.
- Detailed understanding of logistics and IT processes.
- Microsoft office suite knowledge including OneNote.
- English - fluent (both spoken and written).
- Travel within the region - High.
