Royal Ocean Marine, a leading headhunting / recruitment agency company in maritime company, is currently seeking a skilled System Engineer professional to join our client's team. As the System Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the technology infrastructure of our maritime fleet, ensuring efficient and reliable communication and operations at sea. This role requires a strong understanding of maritime operations, IT systems, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. **Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify IT needs and develop strategies to meet them
- Manage, maintain, and upgrade IT systems and infrastructure on maritime vessels
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on board
- Manage and maintain satellite communication systems and marine data networks
- Implement security measures to protect maritime vessels from cyber threats
- Conduct regular maintenance and perform system updates to ensure optimal performance

**Requirements**:

- Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience in IT management within the maritime industry will be advantageous
- In-depth knowledge of maritime operations and regulations
- Strong understanding of IT systems and networks, including marine satellite communication systems
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of cyber security principles and practices in maritime environments
