**Responsibilities**:

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair marine engines and mechanical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance on marine engines and systems such as oil changes, filter replacements, and belt adjustments.
- Repair and replace faulty components including transmissions, starters, alternators, and water pumps.
- Work with a team of mechanics to service and repair marine engines and systems on a variety of vessels including boats and ships.
- Operate machinery and tools needed to repair and maintain marine engines and systems.
- Attend safety training sessions and follow safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Document all work performed on marine engines and systems and maintain accurate records.
