**About This Role:

- **

The primary responsibility of the Risk Manager is to assist the CEO/CRO to implement an appropriate risk management framework and risk controls relevant to AsiaNext’s business model, reflective of best practices and aligned with policies of SIX and SBI.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and roll-out enterprise risk framework, policies and procedures in conjunction with Commercial and other functions. Coverage includes market, credit and operational risks.
- Prepare a detailed project plan to schedule key milestones, workstreams and activities, to achieve the risk department set up, including tools for risk definition, measurement, monitoring and reporting/ escalation.
- Implement effective controls, measures and monitoring based on well-developed risk management policies, procedures, limits and guidelines.
- Together with CEO and Chief Compliance Officer, manage regulatory relationships to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with egulatory developments.
- Ensure all risk reporting is completed in an accurate and timely fashion
- Participate in AsiaNext’s product rollout, assess risk requirement and provide risk solutioning to cater for market risk, counterparty risk and liquidity risk.
- Partner with the management and commercial team to present AsiaNext to external stakeholders in a congruent manner to enhance our brand reputation.
- Advise and educate internal stakeholders on internal Risk Management policies and procedures
- Specific areas of focus for risk management include:

- VAR modelling for different products, including IM and VM calculations on derivatives
- Scenario build and portfolio stress testing for Default Fund setup, sizing and monitoring
- Strong product knowledge of derivatives to develop risk modelling concepts and implementation.
- Past experience in risk modelling and computation using in VBA, Python or other programming language will be an added advantage.

**Qualifications And Experience**

Education
- Degree holder from a recognized university, preferably in finance, risk management, quantitative finance, financial engineering, statistics or other relevant discipline.
- Other professional qualifications such as FRM, PRM, CFA will be an added advantage.

Experience and Skill
- Minimum 12-15 years of integrated risk management experience preferably with primary market risk focus in exchange, bank, securities or asset management firms.
- Solid quantitative skills, with good understanding of VaR, risk factors/indicators and stress tests.
- Team player with collaborative mindset in learning and supporting other risk specialists within the team including but not limited to market risk management.
- Strong analytical mind, independent, good problem-solving, adaptative, agile mindset and multi-tasks handling ability.
