We are seeking an innovative and technically strong individuals, who can combine her/his business and technical skills to promote the Cloud Transformation agenda, to join the Cloud Engineering team as Data Center Architect to drive Data Center migration technical engagements and initiatives. The job requires you to work with all the stakeholders inside and outside the organization. You will be accountable and empowered to drive building innovative experiences in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

An Oracle Data Centre Architect will be the technical liaison between the technology teams and the Data Centre Environment. You can understand Customer requirements and map it to Oracle product offerings and solve all but the most complex infrastructure issues. You know how to innovate and make decisions on your own, but also know how to take direction when it is given, paying attention to all details involved. Expected to improve current processes, and introduce automation with aim towards simplification,

**Technical**:

- 10-15 years of Data Center engineering experience and/or implementation experience and a track record of working on large data center transformation projects
- Lead technical integration and deployment projects with product and service teams
- Leverage strong technical background to create solution requirements for cloud data-center infrastructure solutions based on customer requirements, industry trends, and business needs
- Professional experience in data center or mission critical facility design with basic multidisciplinary knowledge of mission critical systems, design process, pre-construction requirements and the construction process
- Deep understanding of Data Center layout, Racking, Power and Cooling requirements
- Understanding standards and compliance requirements such as SOC, ISO-9001, ISO-22301, ISO-27001, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, Uptime Institute and others global and regional standards bodies
- Broad understanding of data center evolution on-premises to hyper-converged infrastructures and software defined datacenters
- Experience with some of Hyper-Converged infrastructure like Oracle Engineered Systems, Cisco Hyperflex, VMware VxRail, VMware vSAN, Nutanix, etc
- Working knowledge on Hyper-scale cloud of Oracle OCI, AWS, Azure, AliCloud or Google
- Ability to work with engineering organizations and customers to assist them in architecting and deploying their workloads to Oracle Cloud Regions
- Coordinate with stakeholders across the engineering, data center, business operations, and product management teams
- Lead and be a voice for Oracle’s Cloud customers, ensuring that the customer and the impact on the customer is embedded in all decisions, designs and conversations
- Excellent judgment to influence product roadmap direction, features, and priorities
- Excellent collaboration across multiple internal and external stakeholders to establish and maintain our roadmap, setting appropriate expectations and insuring our product and services meet our high standards for excellence

**Functional Requirements**
- At least 10-15 years of experience in technology industry with focus on technical consulting and Data Center design and implementation
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong Adherence to Process and be process champion
- Highly service-oriented, reliable, responsible, self-motivated, and a passionate learner
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of customers and staff.
- Outstanding organizational skills, ability to prioritize effectively, and experience with technical project management
- Discuss key trends and insights and leverage them in driving executive decision-making discussion with customers
- To Interact with all roles at customer - including CIO, CTO
