**Summary**:

**Responsibilities**:

- Release purchase orders (POs) or requests for quotations (RFQs) to suppliers in accordance with MRP.
- tracking shipment progress and coordinating purchase-related issues with both local and foreign vendors.
- In charge of production planning, logistics, and procurement.
- Make sure that every procurement function is timely, high-quality, and cost-effective.
- To evaluate potential suppliers' skills, identify them, and carry out market research.
- Assess and assess vendors for materials, machine parts, and goods purchased from domestic and international vendors.
- Make use of negotiating abilities to get lead times, prices, and payment conditions that are favorable and guarantee on-time delivery.
- Manage, and oversee EC (Engineering Change) closely.
- Ensure that there is enough inventory in the warehouse to support production.
- Effectively communicate at all levels with important stakeholders.
- Capable of working on complicated problems where a thorough assessment of variable aspects is necessary for the understanding of situations or data.
- Use your discretion when deciding on the approaches, strategies, and standards of evaluation to get the desired outcomes.
- As a team head, decide on new assignment techniques and procedures and oversee the work of other staff members.
- Examination of purchasing system enhancements and process simplification regularly for management.
- Carrying out any additional ad hoc tasks that the department manager assigns.

**Requirements**:

- Preferably with a Degree in Business/Purchasing/Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience in the MNC Manufacturing industry. Proficient in SAP/ORACLE/SYSPRO/BAAN/related MRP&ERP
