**JOB OVERVIEW**

We are seeking a creative, innovative, inspired and inspiring Brand and Creative Strategy Director to join our Catalyst Agency. The primary function is developing fantastic multiplatform concepts for our clients across our massive range of news, lifestyle, sports, entertainment and experiences brands. This can range from franchise and movie integrations to custom branded entertainment programming, to made for social moments to on ground experiences and much much more.

You will work closely with all elements of our Catalyst team, One Platform Marketing specialists, ad sales units, and globally-based production teams across the portfolio. Based in Singapore, this role will focus on Asia-Pacific clients but has a global remit - part of an expanding Brand and Creative Strategy unit with management and potentially theme/topic responsibilities.

This unit develops, proposes and pitches innovative creative solutions for and to our commercial partners, consistently innovating to stay ahead of our competitors. The team plays an integral part in capturing new and increased revenues with award winning concepts and strategic rationale to add to their appeal.

The Director will be crucial in developing our ideation strategy and turning ideas and opportunities across the NBCU portfolio into award-winning solutions.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Help define and deliver on the strategic direction for the Brand and Creative Strategy group.
- A leader that works with the front-line ad sales teams, brands and our products - to develop award-winning concepts and solutions for our clients - and also with our creative content and events staff to deliver and learn on those.
- Day to day management to support and guide they are delivering their objectives. Coach and support the team to meet their deadlines and effectively prioritize projects.
- Responsible for implementing, reviewing and updating systems and processes within the team to ensure the best possible solutions are being developed for clients.
- Work with the front-line sales team and other partners globally to respond to briefs with (principally) bespoke, strategic multiplatform and experiential solutions. Responses will range from verbal input to producing a text-based proposal or creating a detailed pitch deck and presenting it directly to the client or agency
- Work with the Catalyst Agency production team to ensure accurate production cost estimates and communicating details to the front line sales team (for media planning), contributing to and tracking campaigns
- Create project plans and assist in the deal review process for every successfully converted proposal to ensure a smooth hand-over from pitch to contract and then to execution/production
- Work with the broader Global Ad Sales team to ensure optimal pitch to deal conversion rates and repeat clients
- Keep up-to-date with industry and technological advancements particularly in the digital advertising and experiential space, b2b and b2c events.
- Evolve client pitch and presentation process.
- Work as a conduit between sales and content on assessing best practice process and workflow
**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Expertise in multiplatform content and campaign development, across any combination or all of news, lifestyle, entertainment, sports, travel, business, tech etc.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, track record of leading strategic marketing advice and experience of campaign development
- In-depth knowledge of latest trends in brand marketing and new technologies
- Excellent, innovative and persuasive, written, verbal and visual communication skills
- Demonstrated and client pitch and presentation experience
- A collaborative, ‘can do’ approach that encourages co-operation between internal NBCU departments and helps to enhance our client relationships
- Experience of leading and managing small to medium sized teams, global and regional experience preferred.
- Creativity and a passion for innovative problem solving
- An ability to multi-task and thrive in a high-pressured and fun environment.
- A passion for the media production and publication/streaming space.
**REQUIREMENTS**
- University degree and media qualification preferred
- Willingness to travel as required and to work flexible hours when necessary
