We are looking for a passionate individual to be part of the Blood Services Group (BSG), Blood Resources Division. The appointee for this position will be a senior/blood professional assistant who support the blood collection operation in the blood bank.

Responsibilities:

- Perform registration duties which include registering donor for donation, handling donor enquiries and assisting donor to book appointment for next donation and phlebotomy linking
- Conduct haemoglobin testing and capping which includes taking blood for haemoglobin test, explaining to donor on deferral if required, checking, sorting blood bags and sample tubes before passing it to the laboratory
- Assist phlebotomist in whole blood pre and post donation procedure which includes blood bag preparation, bandaging and stripping of blood bags

- Minimum GCE N Level and above
- The appointee will be required to perform morning and afternoon shift. Not required to perform grave yard shift.
- Relevant working experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
